Everett is a small, quiet place in Dodge County, Nebraska, in the United States. It's called an "unincorporated area" because it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. Instead, it's managed by the county.
A Peek into Everett's Past
Everett once had its own post office. This important building opened way back in 1875. People living in Everett could send and receive their mail there. However, the post office closed down in 1907. It is believed that Everett was named after one of the first people to settle in the area.
