Everett G. Brown (born January 1, 1902 – died October 14, 1953) was an American actor. He appeared in many Hollywood movies during his career.

Early Roles and Famous Movies
Many of Everett Brown's roles were small. He often played characters like natives or slaves. Sometimes, his name was not even shown in the movie credits. This is called being "uncredited."
He played a kind character named "Big Sam" in the famous movie Gone with the Wind (1939). Big Sam was a field foreman on a plantation called Tara. Brown also had a supporting role in Congo Maisie (1940).
One of his most interesting roles was in the classic monster movie King Kong (1933). In this film, he played a native character wearing an ape costume!
Later Career and Legacy
Everett Brown stopped acting in films for a few years around 1940. But he returned to Hollywood in 1949. He made four more movies before he passed away in 1953. He died in Los Angeles, California.
