The Everittstown Historic District is a special area that includes the old parts of the village. It's a place where buildings and the way the area looks are kept safe because they are important to history. This district covers about 102 acres (about 41 hectares).

Why is it a Historic District?

This district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 28, 1980. It's important because of its unique buildings, its history in business (commerce), and its past in making things (industry). The district is found where three roads meet: County Route 513, County Route 519, and Palmyra Road.

Famous Buildings in the District

One of the notable buildings in the district is the Baltus Pickel house. It was built around 1860. This house shows a style of building called Italianate architecture. This style was popular in the mid-1800s and often features tall windows, wide eaves, and decorative brackets.
