Eversonville has a history that goes back to the late 1800s. A post office was opened in Eversonville in 1878. This was an important place where people could send and receive mail. The post office served the community for many years, but it eventually closed down in 1906. The community was named after a person named Charles H. Everson. He owned a local country store, which was likely a central place for people to buy goods and meet.
