Ewa Chobot (born Ewa Farna on August 12, 1993) is a talented singer from the Czech Republic with Polish roots. She sings pop-rock music. Ewa has released many albums in both Polish and Czech. Her music has earned her special awards like platinum and gold certifications in both countries. She has also been a judge on popular TV shows like Česko Slovenská SuperStar, the Polish X Factor, and the Polish Idol.

Early Life and Education
Ewa Farna was born on August 12, 1993. Her family is Polish and lives in a village called Vendryně in the Czech Republic, near Třinec. Ewa went to a Polish elementary school in Vendryně. She also attended the Juliusz Słowacki Polish Grammar School in Český Těšín. When she was a child, Ewa spent five years at an art school. She also went to a dance school and learned to play the piano.
Ewa Farna's Music Career
Ewa Farna first became known when she won local talent shows. She won these competitions in both the Czech Republic and Poland in 2004 and 2005. A music producer named Lešek Wronka discovered her.
First Albums and Awards
In 2006, Ewa released her first album, Měls mě vůbec rád. That same year, she won the Discovery of the Year award at the Český slavík music awards in the Czech Republic. Her second album, Ticho, came out in 2007. It reached number two on the music charts in the Czech Republic. She also released a Polish version of her first album, called Sam na Sam, in 2007.
Concerts and TV Appearances
Ewa's concert DVD, Blíž ke hvězdám, was very popular. It became the best-selling music DVD in the Czech Republic in 2008. In early 2009, the Polish version of Ticho was released, titled Cicho. In 2010, Ewa appeared in an episode of a Polish TV comedy show called Hela w opałach.
Continued Success and Milestones
Her next album, Virtuální, was released in October 2009. In 2010, Ewa's first Polish album, EWAkuacja, came out. This album won many awards, including the Viva Comet 2011. When Ewa turned 18 in 2011, she held two special birthday concerts. One was in the Czech Republic, and a DVD called 18 Live was released from it. The other was in Poland, and a DVD called Live, niezapomniany koncert urodzeniowy was released. Also in 2011, she won Album of the Year for Cicho at the National Festival of Polish Song in Opole. She also won Polish Hit of the Summer at the Sopot Hit Festival for her song "Cicho".
Recent Achievements
In October 2013, Ewa released her album (W)Inna?. In 2014, she released her Czech song "Leporelo" with a music video. She also released a song called "Lešek" about her manager. Ewa Farna has continued to receive awards for her singing. She won the Best Female Singer award at Český slavík in 2021, 2023, and 2024.
Personal Life
Ewa Farna comes from a Polish family that is very proud of their heritage. Her father, Tadeusz, is a musician who plays in Polish folk groups. Ewa has dual citizenship, meaning she is a citizen of both Poland and the Czech Republic. She has often said that she feels "as a proud Pole." She supports the Polish minority in the Czech Republic and works with the Congress of Poles in the Czech Republic. In 2008, she received the Srebrne Spinki award. This award is given by the Polish Consul in Ostrava for her musical success and for promoting the Polish community.
In May 2012, Ewa was in a car accident. It happened between Třinec and Vendryně. She had only minor injuries. She had been celebrating passing her final high school exams the day before. She explained that she fell asleep while driving because she was very tired from studying for a week.
In 2017, Ewa Farna married her long-time partner, Martin Chobot. They have two children together. The family lives in Prague.
