Ewing is a village in Franklin County, Illinois, United States. The population was 307 at the 2010 census.

Geography

Ewing is located in northern Franklin County at 38°5′24″N 88°51′13″W / 38.09°N 88.85361°W / 38.09; -88.85361 (38.089998, -88.853674). It is 9 miles (14 km) northeast of Benton, the county seat.

There were 136 housing units at an average density of 134.2 per square mile (52.0/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 100.00% White. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.29% of the population.

There were 121 households out of which 38.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.9% were married couples living together, 10.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.1% were non-families. 26.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.56 and the average family size was 3.10.
