Eyre Massey, 3rd Baron Clarina (born 6 May 1798 – died 18 November 1872) was an important noble person from Ireland with British family connections. He held the title of Baron Clarina.

Eyre Massey was born in 1798. His father was Nathaniel Massey, who was the 2nd Baron Clarina. His mother was Penelope Westropp. When his father passed away in January 1810, Eyre became the next Baron Clarina. This meant he inherited his father's noble title.
His Education
Eyre Massey went to a famous university called Christ Church, Oxford in England. He studied there and finished his education on 20 February 1819.
His Role in Politics
In 1849, Eyre Massey was chosen to be a representative peer for Ireland. This meant he was elected by other Irish nobles to represent them in the British Parliament. He took his place in the House of Lords, which is one of the two main parts of the UK Parliament. He was a member of the Conservative Party, which is a political group.
His Family Life
Eyre Massey married Susan Elizabeth Barton on 9 September 1828. Susan was the daughter of Hugh Barton and Anne Johnston. Eyre and Susan had eight children together. When Eyre Massey passed away, his oldest son who was still alive, also named Eyre, became the next Baron Clarina. One of his other sons was William Massey-Mainwaring.
Elm Park House
Eyre Massey was also known for building a large house called Elm Park. It was located near the city of Limerick in Ireland. Sadly, this historic house was taken down in 1965.
