Fårö is a charming Swedish island located in the Baltic Sea. It sits just north of Gotland, which is a much larger Swedish island. Fårö is the second-largest island in the historical area of Gotland. Even though it's a good size, fewer than 600 people live there all the time. The island has become a very popular spot for people to visit, especially in the summer. A special way of speaking, called a dialect of Modern Gutnish, comes from Fårö. Some people even say it's the "oldest" language in Sweden!
