Mohammad Faisal Hussain Khan (born on August 3, 1966) is an Indian actor. He has appeared in many Hindi films. He is well-known for his role as Shankar Shane in the movie Mela.

About Faisal Khan's Family
Faisal Khan is the son of Tahir Hussain, who was a film producer. His brother is Aamir Khan, a famous actor, director, and producer. Faisal also has two sisters, Nikhat Khan, who is a producer and actor, and Farhat Khan.
His uncle, Nasir Hussain, was also a film producer and director. Faisal's nephew, Imran Khan, used to be an actor. His cousin, Tariq Khan, was an actor in the 1970s and 1980s. Faisal is also related to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, a very important historical figure.
Faisal Khan's Acting Journey
Early Roles and First Steps
Faisal Khan first appeared in a movie when he was just three years old. This was in his uncle Nasir Hussain's 1969 film Pyar Ka Mausam. He played the younger version of the character played by Shashi Kapoor.
As an adult, he made his first film appearance in 1988. He had a small role as a villain in his brother Aamir's movie Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. Later, he worked behind the scenes as an assistant director. This was for his father's 1990 film Tum Mere Ho, which starred his brother Aamir.
Taking on Lead Roles
Faisal Khan got his first main acting role in the 1994 film Madhosh. His father produced this movie, and Vikram Bhatt directed it. After this film, he took a break from acting for five years.
In 2000, he returned to films. He starred alongside his brother Aamir in the movie Mela. Even though the movie didn't do very well, the director, Dharmesh Darshan, praised Faisal's acting.
Later Films and TV Work
After Mela, Faisal appeared in several other films. From 2003 to 2004, he also acted in a TV show called Aandhi. After his 2005 film Chand Bujh Gaya, he took another long break from acting.
In 2015, it was announced that he would return to films. He starred in Chinar Daastaan-E-Ishq. In 2017, he acted in Danger, a horror film. This movie has not been released yet.
Directing and Singing
In 2021, Faisal Khan tried something new. He directed his first film, a psychological thriller called Faactory. He also acted in this movie and even sang a song for it! In 2022, he acted in his first Kannada language movie, Oppanda.
Faisal Khan's Personal Life
In 2007, Faisal Khan was reported missing for a couple of days. He was later found in Pune and returned to Mumbai. There was a family discussion about his well-being and who would best care for him. In the end, his father, Tahir Hussain, was given the responsibility for his care.
