Mohammed Aamir Hussain Khan (born 14 March 1965) is a famous Indian actor, filmmaker, and TV personality. He works mainly in Hindi films. People often call him "Mr. Perfectionist" because he works very hard.
Aamir Khan is known for choosing movies that talk about important social issues. These include topics like education and gender equality. His films often have a positive impact on society in India and other countries. Over his career of more than 30 years, Khan has become one of the most important actors in Indian cinema.

Mohammed Aamir Hussain Khan was born on 14 March 1965 in Bombay. His father, Tahir Hussain, was a film producer, and his mother is Zeenat Hussain. He has three siblings: a younger brother, Faisal Khan, and two sisters, Farhat and Nikhat Khan.
His family has roots from Herat in Afghanistan. Many of his relatives worked in the Hindi film industry. This includes his uncle, producer-director Nasir Hussain.
