Faith Erin Hicks is a talented Canadian cartoonist and animator. She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia.

She is known for creating many graphic novels. Some she wrote and drew herself, like Zombies Calling! and Friends with Boys. She also worked with others on books such as Nothing Could Possibly Go Wrong and Buffy: The High School Years. Faith Erin Hicks has also made popular webcomics like Demonology 101 and The Adventures of Superhero Girl.

About Faith Erin Hicks

Faith Erin Hicks studied animation at Sheridan College. She became well-known for her long-running webcomic, Demonology 101. This comic was often called D101.

After Demonology 101, she made other comics. These include A Distant Faith, which was a spin-off story. She also created a zombie-themed comic called Zombies Calling. Another of her works is Ice, a comic set in a future world.

Faith Erin Hicks has also worked in animation. She drew backgrounds for the George of the Jungle cartoon series. She also created a comic strip called Jenny’s Brothers for a newspaper. Her original comic series, The Adventures of Superhero Girl, appeared weekly in a local paper. It was later collected into a book.

Her graphic novel Friends with Boys was released in 2012. She also helped write and illustrate The Last of Us: American Dreams. This graphic novel was co-written with Neil Druckmann.

In 2014, it was announced that Hicks would illustrate a graphic novel for young adults. This book, called Pumpkinheads, was published in 2019. It was written by Rainbow Rowell.

In 2020, Faith Erin Hicks shared that she was working on a new graphic novel. This book is titled Ride On.
