Famous 5: On The Case is a cool animated TV show from the UK and France. It's based on the super popular Famous Five books by Enid Blyton. This show brings the adventure into modern times! It first aired in 2008 on Disney Channel in the UK and France 3 in France.

The show follows the children of the original Famous Five characters. They go on exciting new adventures, but with a modern twist. Unlike their parents, these kids use new technology like laptops and mobile phones to help them solve mysteries. The series is a co-production between British and French television companies.

Meet the New Famous Five

This animated series features the children of the original Famous Five. They are a new generation of adventurers! Each character has their own unique personality and skills.

Main Characters

  • Jo Misra - Jo is 12 years old and the daughter of George Kirrin from the original books. She's a tomboy just like her mom. Her full name is Jyothi, which means "light" in Hindi. Jo is voiced by Ciara Janson.
  • Max Kirrin - Max is 13 and the son of Julian Kirrin. He loves exciting sports like mountain biking and skateboarding. Max is always ready for an adventure! He is voiced by Jon Lee.
  • Allie Campbell - Allie is 12 years old and the daughter of Anne Kirrin. She was born in California and loves shopping. Allie uses her mobile phone a lot to chat with friends in America. Her voice is done by Kelly Metzger.
  • Dylan Kirrin - Dylan is 11 and the son of Dick Kirrin. He's a big fan of gadgets and always looking for ways to make money. Dylan is voiced by Lizzie Waterworth.
  • Timmy the Dog - Timmy is the loyal and brave pet dog of the Famous Five. He's always there to help them solve mysteries. Justin Fletcher provides Timmy's voice.

Other Characters

  • Dane and Blaine Dunston - These brothers are neighbors of the Famous Five. They are spoiled and a bit arrogant because their dad is very rich. They often get into trouble, but sometimes they even team up with the Famous Five.
