Feel the Fear facts for kids

Kids Encyclopedia Facts

Feel the Fear was a fun TV show made for kids aged 7 to 12. It was shown on CITV in the United Kingdom. The show was all about two presenters, Holly Willoughby and Steve Wilson. They would challenge each other to face their biggest fears! The show used common fears, like being scared of heights or the dark. Darrall Macqueen produced this exciting programme.

How the Show Worked

The show had a cool format. Holly and Steve took turns facing fears. One week, Holly would give Steve a challenge. The next week, Steve would challenge Holly. It was a bit like a "boys versus girls" competition!

Whoever was facing their fear had to complete three challenges. These challenges happened over two days. Two challenges were on the first day. The final, toughest challenge was on the second day. Each challenge got harder than the last. The last challenge really showed if they had beaten their fear!

Special Parts of the Show

During the challenges, a special expert was there. Her name was Anjula Mutanda. She was a phobia expert. She would check the heartbeat of the person doing the challenge. This helped to see if they were truly "feeling the fear."

There was also a cool part called "body burst." In this section, Anjula would explain things. She used fun animated videos. She taught viewers the science behind fears. She also showed how our bodies react when we get scared.
