The Story of Feesburg
Feesburg has a history that goes back almost 200 years! The community was founded in 1835 by a person named Thomas J. Fee. When we say it was "laid out," it means he planned the community, probably deciding where streets and buildings would go. Feesburg was then named after him.
A few years later, in 1841, a post office opened in Feesburg. Having a post office was a very important step for any community back then. It meant people could send and receive letters, which helped them stay connected with family and friends far away. It also showed that Feesburg was growing and becoming a more established place.
