Early Life and Challenges
Felicia Pearson was born on May 18, 1980, in Baltimore, Maryland. She was born very early and was quite small, needing special care as a baby. She later took on her foster family's last name.
When she was fourteen, Felicia faced legal trouble and was sent to a correctional facility in Jessup, Maryland. While there, she worked hard and earned her GED certificate, which is like a high school diploma. She was released after six and a half years.
During her younger years, a friend gave her the nickname "Snoop." This was because she reminded him of Charlie Brown's playful beagle, Snoopy, from the comic strip Peanuts. After leaving the facility, Felicia tried to find work. She got a job making car bumpers, but it was hard for her to keep it because of her past.
