Felix Neureuther is a famous German alpine ski racer. He used to compete in the World Cup, which is a big series of ski races. He was also a World Champion! He was born on March 26, 1984.

Felix Neureuther's Early Life
Felix grew up in Munich, Germany. His parents were both amazing ski racers too! His mom, Rosi Mittermaier, was an Olympic and World Champion. His dad, Christian Neureuther, was also a great slalom skier.
Felix's aunt, Evi Mittermaier, was also a successful alpine ski racer. The Neureuther–Mittermaier family has won many World Cup races and stood on the podium over 100 times!
Felix Neureuther's Skiing Career
Felix was part of the German national ski team. He competed in nine World Championships and three Winter Olympics. He won a silver medal in slalom at the 2013 World Championships. He also earned a bronze medal in the team event that year.
Before that, Felix won a gold medal in the team event at the 2005 World Championships. He also won bronze medals in slalom in 2015 and 2017.
Felix won his first World Cup race in 2010 in Austria. He won his only giant slalom race in 2014 in Switzerland. This was a special win because it was only the second time a German man had won a World Cup giant slalom race!
Felix has won 13 World Cup races and stood on the podium 47 times. This makes him Germany's most successful male World Cup skier ever! He announced his retirement from racing in March 2019.
Felix Neureuther's Personal Life
Felix's parents, Christian Neureuther and Rosi Mittermaier, were both famous ski racers in the 1970s. His mom, Rosi, won two gold medals and one silver medal at the 1976 Winter Olympics.
Since 2013, Felix has been in a relationship with Miriam Gössner, who is a biathlete. They got married in December 2017. Their daughter, Matilda, was born in October 2017.
One of Felix's childhood friends is the famous football player Bastian Schweinsteiger. Felix even presented an award to Bastian in 2016.
