Understanding Feni's Administration
Feni district was officially created on February 15, 1984. This means it became its own separate administrative area on that date. The district is divided into smaller units to help manage its services and people.
How Feni is Organized
Feni district has six main sub-districts, which are called upazillas. Think of them like smaller counties within the district. Each upazilla helps manage its local area. Below the upazillas, there are 45 union parishads, which are even smaller local government units, similar to local councils for groups of villages. Overall, Feni district is home to about 570 villages.
