Fernanda Keller, born on October 4, 1963, is a famous professional triathlete from Brazil. She made history as the first Brazilian woman to win a medal at the tough Ironman Triathlon World Championships.

Early Days in Triathlon

Fernanda Keller earned six bronze medals at the Ironman Triathlon World Championships. These races took place in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. She finished third in 1994, 1995, 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000. Her consistent performance showed her incredible skill and determination.

Besides her world championship medals, Fernanda also won the Ironman Brazil competition three times. She took first place in 2000, 2004, and 2008. She also finished as the runner-up four times in this race.
