Fillmore Township is a cool place in Allegan County, Michigan. It's like a small town area. In 2020, about 2,778 people lived here. Fillmore Township was created way back in 1849. It used to be part of another area called Manlius Township. The city of Holland is right next to Fillmore Township, on its northwest side.

Graafschap: A Piece of Dutch History
Graafschap is a small community that stretches into both Fillmore Township and Laketown Township. Early settlers from the Netherlands gave it its name. Graafschap is a Dutch word that means "county."
This community has some special places. The Graafschap Christian Reformed Church was built in 1862. The Graafschap Fire Department is also here. They even host a fun pancake breakfast every Fourth of July!
