Firmin Ngrébada (born 24 May 1968) is a politician from the Central African Republic. He served as the Prime Minister of the Central African Republic from February 2019 to June 2021. A Prime Minister is like a chief minister who helps lead the government.
Mr. Ngrébada was chosen for this important role after a special peace agreement was signed. This agreement was made between the government and 14 armed groups. The goal was to stop the fighting in the country's ongoing civil war. He also helped lead the discussions to create this peace deal.

Firmin Ngrébada's Early Life and Education
Firmin Ngrébada was born on 24 May 1968. He studied law at the University of Bangui. In 1988, he earned his first degree in law. Later, in 1994, he received a master's degree in public law from the same university.
After finishing his studies, he started working for the government in October 1993. His job involved checking on social and labor laws. This means he looked at rules about how people work and are treated in their jobs.
Ngrébada's Journey in Politics
Before becoming Prime Minister, Firmin Ngrébada held several important positions. He worked as a Deputy Cabinet Director. This was when Simplice Sarandji was the Cabinet Director and Faustin-Archange Touadéra was the Prime Minister.
Later, Ngrébada became the main Cabinet Director for the Central African Republic. He also served as the chief of staff for the President. This role means he was a top advisor and manager for the President.
On 25 February 2019, Firmin Ngrébada officially became the Prime Minister. He took an oath to serve his country.
Resignation from Office
On 10 June 2021, Firmin Ngrébada and all the ministers in his government stepped down. This happened after 160 French soldiers left the country earlier that week.
