Firmin Ngrébada was born on May 24, 1968. He is a politician from the Central African Republic. He served as the Prime Minister of his country. His time as Prime Minister was from February 25, 2019, to June 15, 2021. He was chosen for this role after a peace agreement was signed. This agreement aimed to reduce violence in the ongoing civil war. Firmin Ngrébada also led his country's team during the peace talks.

Early Life and Education
Firmin Ngrébada studied law at the University of Bangui. He earned his law degree in 1988. Later, in 1994, he received a master's degree in public law from the same university.
Starting His Public Service Career
In October 1993, Firmin Ngrébada began working for the government. His job involved checking social and labor laws. This was an important step in his career in public service.
Key Government Roles
Before becoming Prime Minister, Ngrébada held several important positions. He worked as a Deputy Cabinet Director. This was when Simplice Sarandji was the Cabinet Director and Faustin-Archange Touadéra was Prime Minister. Later, Ngrébada became the Cabinet Director for the Central African Republic. He also served as the chief of staff to the President. On February 25, 2019, he officially became the Prime Minister.
Resignation from Office
On June 10, 2021, Firmin Ngrébada and all the members of his government resigned. This happened after 160 French soldiers left the country. The French government had stopped supporting these soldiers. They claimed that the Central African Republic's government was involved in certain activities. They also accused the government of not stopping anti-French information. Additionally, they mentioned harsh treatment against political opponents.
Views on International Relations
Firmin Ngrébada also had connections with the Wagner Group. This group is a private company that provides military services. However, in 2023, he stated that he was not "the Russians' man." He called such accusations absurd. When the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, he said that soldiers from the Central African Republic should not get involved. He believed the conflict did not concern them.
