Fish Haven, first called Rush Creek, is a small community in Idaho, United States. It's not a city with its own government, but a place where people live. You can find it right by the beautiful Bear Lake. It's in Bear Lake County, just about 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) north of the Utah state line.
A Look Back: Fish Haven's History
People first started living in Fish Haven a long time ago, in 1864. A few years later, in 1867, a post office opened there. It stayed open for many years, until 1962.
The community got its name, Fish Haven, because Bear Lake is a really popular spot for fishing. It's a great place to catch fish!
In 1909, about 100 people lived in Fish Haven. By 1960, the number of people had grown a bit to 130.
