This area used to be a mail-stop in the mid-1800s to early 1900s, served by the Yellow River Post Office. Even today, you can find Five Forks on maps as a small community located between the towns of Snellville and Lawrenceville. It's connected to another old mail-stop called Trickum by the uniquely named Five Forks Trickum Road. Today, Five Forks has local restaurants, shopping centers, and the newer Ronald Reagan Park. The Five Forks Library branch is also nearby.
