Flash Gordon was an exciting science fiction TV show that first aired from October 1954 to July 1955. It was based on the famous Flash Gordon comic strip characters created by Alex Raymond.
The story takes place far in the future, in the year 3203. The main characters are Flash (played by Steve Holland), Dale Arden (played by Irene Champlin), and Dr. Zarkov (played by Joseph Nash). They work as special agents for the Galactic Bureau of Investigation. Their mission is to travel across the galaxy in their cool spaceship, the Sky Flash. They fight against bad guys from space, following orders from Commander Paul Richards (played by Henry Beckman).

This TV show was made by different countries working together. It was a joint project from West Germany, France, and the United States. The filming took place in West Berlin and Marseille.
