Flavia Tumusiime facts for kids

Flavia Tumusiime is a famous Ugandan actress and media personality. She is also a radio and television host, a voice-over artist, and an author. You might know her from her book, 30 Days of Flavia. She used to host a radio show on 91.3 Capital FM in Kampala and was a news anchor on NTV Uganda. Flavia also worked as a VJ for Channel O. She played the main character, Kamali Tenywa, in the TV series Beneath The Lies - The Series.

About Flavia Tumusiime

Early Life and School

Flavia Tumusiime was born in 1989 in Kampala, Uganda. She is the only child of Enoch Tumusiime and Christine Asiimwe. Her family comes from Kabale, in South Western Uganda.

For primary school, Flavia went to St Theresa Kisubi. Later, she attended Kitante Hill Secondary School for both her "O" and "A" levels. After high school, she studied at Makerere University Business School. She earned a bachelor's degree in International Business there.

Family Life

Flavia Tumusiime is married to Andrew Kabuura, who is a sports broadcaster. They got married on January 12, 2019. Flavia and Andrew have three children, including twins.

Flavia's Career in Media

Television Work

Flavia Tumusiime started working in television when she was a teenager. She first presented a show called "WBS TV's Teen's Club" with other teens for four years. From 2010 to 2012, she hosted another show on WBS TV called "K-files."

Since 2011, Flavia has been a presenter for the "Guinness Football Challenge." This show has been seen on NTV in Uganda and ITV & KTN in Kenya. Around the same time, she also worked as a VJ for Channel O. In 2012, she was a presenter for "Big Brother Africa."

In 2016, Flavia joined NTV Uganda as a news anchor for "NTV Tonight." She also co-hosted the morning show "Morning @ NTV," which she started in early 2018.

Radio Work

Flavia Tumusiime had a short time working at HOT100 FM in 2006. After that, she joined Capital FM, where she has worked for many years.
