Where the Fleshy Hawthorn Grows
This hawthorn species is found in many places. It grows across much of southern Canada. In the United States, you can find it as far south as Arizona, New Mexico, Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Because it grows in so many different areas, there are many slightly different forms of the plant. Scientists sometimes give these forms different names, but they are all still considered part of the same Crataegus succulenta family.
