Florijana Ismaili (born January 1, 1995 – died June 29, 2019) was a talented Swiss footballer. She played as a forward or a midfielder. Florijana was the captain of BSC YB Frauen, a team in the top Swiss women's football league. She also played for the Swiss national team.
Florijana started playing for her country's national team in 2014. She was an important part of the Swiss squad at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. This is a very big tournament where national teams from all over the world compete.

Florijana Ismaili was born in Aarberg, Switzerland. She began her football journey at a young age. From 2006 to 2011, she played for a youth club called FC Walperswil.
Playing for BSC YB Frauen
In 2011, Florijana joined BSC YB Frauen. This is a well-known women's football club in Switzerland. She played for them for eight years, until 2019. During her time there, she became the team's captain. This shows how much her teammates and coaches trusted her leadership skills.
International Career
