Floyd Lahache (born September 17, 1957) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played as a defence player, whose main job is to protect their team's goal. He played in the World Hockey Association (WHA), which was a major hockey league at the time.

Early Life and Youth Hockey
Floyd Lahache was born in Kahnawake, Quebec, Canada. From a young age, he showed a talent for ice hockey. He even played in the famous Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament twice. He participated in this big event for young players in 1969 and 1970.
Becoming a Professional Player
In 1977, Floyd Lahache was ready to play professional hockey. He was chosen by two different teams in two different leagues. The Chicago Black Hawks picked him in the 1977 NHL draft. However, he decided to play in the World Hockey Association (WHA) instead. The Cincinnati Stingers had also picked him in their 1977 WHA draft.
Floyd played eleven games for the Cincinnati Stingers during the 1977–78 WHA season. After his time in the WHA, he continued his career in other professional leagues. He played for teams like the Sherbrooke Castors in junior hockey. Later, he joined teams such as the Hampton Gulls and Binghamton Dusters in the AHL. He also played for the Flint Generals and Kalamazoo Wings in the IHL. His professional career lasted from 1977 to 1984.
