Forest Hill is a small, quiet community in Indiana, a state in the United States. It's not a big city or a town with its own mayor. Instead, it's called an "unincorporated community." This means it's part of a larger area known as Jackson Township in Decatur County.
History of Forest Hill
Forest Hill was first created in 1852. It got its name because there was a thick forest right where the community began. For many years, people in Forest Hill could send and receive their mail at a local post office. However, this post office closed down in 1904.
