The Story of Fort Howard Hospital
The United States Army built this hospital in the 1830s. It was made for the soldiers at Fort Howard. After the fort closed down, the building was moved. It became a private home on Kellogg Street and Chestnut Street. Later, in 1975, it was moved again to where it stands today. Now, it is a museum where visitors can learn about its past.
