Foster Center is a small village located in the town of Foster, Rhode Island. It's a special place because it's home to the Foster Center Historic District. This district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 11, 1974. It means the buildings and area are important to history.
The district has many old houses built in different styles. Some are in the Greek Revival style, which looks like ancient Greek temples. Others are from the Colonial period. There's even a town building from the late 1700s that is still used today! In 2010, about 355 people lived in Foster Center.

Exploring Foster Center's Location
Foster Center is located in Rhode Island, close to the state's western border. It covers an area of about 5.65 square kilometers (about 2.18 square miles). Most of this area is land, with a tiny bit of water.
The village is easy to find because it's right along Rhode Island Route 94. This road can take you north to West Glocester or south towards Clayville.
