Fourth Baptist Church is a Baptist church located in Richmond, Virginia. It was built in 1884. This historic building is a three-story structure made of brick, covered with a smooth plaster-like material called stucco. It is designed in the Greek Revival style, which means it looks like ancient Greek temples.
The church has a special entrance area called a portico. This portico has two large columns and flat column-like shapes (pilasters) on the walls. These support a decorative band called an entablature, all in the Doric style, which is one of the oldest and simplest Greek architectural styles. In 1964, a Sunday School building was added to the church.
