Fourway, Tazewell County, Virginia facts for kids

Fourway, also known as Burkes Garden Siding, was once a small area in Tazewell County, Virginia. It was what we call an unincorporated community. This means it was a place where people lived, but it didn't have its own official town government or mayor.

Today, Fourway is no longer a separate community. It has become part of the nearby town of Tazewell. When a town grows and takes over a nearby area, it's called annexation. So, Tazewell has expanded to include Fourway.

You can find Fourway where two important roads meet. These roads are U.S. Route 19/460 Business and State Route 61.
