Foxhall is a well-known neighborhood in Washington, D.C.. It is located in the northwest part of the city. The area is bordered by Reservoir Road to the north. Foxhall Road forms its western and southern edges. Glover-Archbold Park is on its eastern side.
The first homes in Foxhall were built in the mid-1920s. These early houses were along Reservoir Road and Greenwich Park Way. By December 1927, about 150 homes had been finished. This new community was then named Foxhall Village.
Foxhall is mainly a residential area. This means it is mostly made up of homes. The neighborhood is famous for its special style of buildings. Most of the houses are built in a brick Tudor style. This style looks like old English homes.
