Francisco Ramón Dorronsoro Sánchez, often called Fran Dorronsoro, is a Spanish professional footballer. He was born on May 22, 1985, in Torrelavega, Spain. Fran plays as a goalkeeper, which means his main job is to protect his team's goal and stop the other team from scoring. He has played for many different football clubs throughout his career. Currently, he is a player for Numancia.

Fran Dorronsoro has had a long and interesting career in football. He started playing when he was young and worked his way up through different teams.
Starting in Youth Football
Fran began his football journey in the youth academies of two well-known Spanish clubs. He played for Gimnástica and then for Zaragoza. This is where he learned the important skills needed to be a goalkeeper.
Early Professional Career in Spain
After his youth training, Fran started playing for senior teams.
- From 2004 to 2005, he played for Universidad Zaragoza.
- Then, from 2005 to 2009, he was with Zaragoza B. This is the reserve team for Real Zaragoza.
- He later joined Alcoyano from 2009 to 2012.
- In the 2012–2013 season, he played for Alcorcón.
- From 2013 to 2016, Fran was a key player for Albacete. He played in 53 matches for them.
- He then moved to Lorca, where he played 71 games between 2016 and 2018.
Playing Football in India
Fran Dorronsoro also had an exciting experience playing football outside of Spain.
- From 2018 to 2020, he played for Delhi Dynamos in India. This team is now known as Odisha FC. He played 25 matches in the Indian Super League, which is India's top football league.
Return to Spanish Clubs
After his time in India, Fran came back to play in Spain.
- From 2020 to 2022, he played for Badalona.
- He then joined Tarazona for the 2022–2023 season.
