He continued his education at the Johns Hopkins University, getting a master's degree in education in 1979.

Early Career and Community Work

Before becoming a politician, Frank Boston worked as a teacher. He was also a vocational evaluator for the Baltimore City Public School System. This means he helped students figure out what jobs they might be good at.

Mr. Boston was very involved in his community. He was a leader in a union called the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME).
