Joseph Franklin Demaree (born June 10, 1910 – died August 30, 1958) was an American baseball player. He was an outfielder, which means he played in the outfield area of the baseball field. Frank played for twelve seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB).
He played for several famous teams during his career. These included the Chicago Cubs, New York Giants, Boston Braves, St. Louis Cardinals, and St. Louis Browns.

Early Career Success
Before joining the major leagues, Frank played in the Pacific Coast League (PCL). This was a very strong minor league at the time. In 1934, he achieved something amazing in the PCL. He hit 30 home runs and stole 30 bases in one season! This is a rare feat in baseball. Only a few other players have done it in the PCL.
Helping Teams Win Pennants
Frank Demaree was part of several teams that won their league championships, called pennants.
- In 1932, 1935, and 1938, he helped the Chicago Cubs win the National League pennant.
- He even hit a home run in the final game of the 1932 World Series against the New York Yankees.
- He also hit a home run in Game 1 of the 1935 World Series.
