Frank Whitehead is a Canadian politician. He used to be a leader, or chief, of the Opaskwayak Cree Nation. This is a First Nations community in northern Manitoba. He also worked as an advisor for the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs.
In 2009, Frank Whitehead was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba. This is like the parliament for the province of Manitoba. He represented an area called The Pas. He was a member of the New Democratic Party of Manitoba, which is a political party.
He was elected again in the 2011 provincial election. This meant he continued to serve the people of The Pas.
Frank Whitehead stopped being a politician on May 16, 2014. He resigned from his position because of health reasons.
