Fred Abraham's Cricket Career

The Match Against Barbados
The cricket match took place in Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados, at a ground called Bay Pasture. In this game, Fred Abraham batted fifth for Demerara. He managed to score six runs before he was caught out by a player named William Howell. The ball had been bowled by Alfred Browne.
After Fred was out, his team, Demerara, finished their first turn at batting with 76 runs. Barbados then batted and scored 66 runs. After his turn batting, Fred Abraham could not continue playing in the match. Another player, Alfred Swain, took his place as a substitute. Demerara then scored 94 runs in their second turn. Barbados easily reached the score they needed to win, and they won the match by six wickets.
