About Freddi Poole
Freddi Poole grew up in Los Angeles, a big city in California. She started singing when she was very young, at just four years old, in her church. When she was fourteen, she got her first chance to record music. This was with a girl group called The Delicates. Other members of this group included Darlene Walton, Billie Rae Calvin, and Brenda Joyce Evans. Billie Rae and Brenda later became part of another group called the Undisputed Truth.
Singing with the Former Ladies of the Supremes
In July 1996, Freddi Poole joined a group called the Former Ladies of the Supremes. She took the place of another singer named Sundray Tucker. This group was made up of singers who had once been part of the very famous group, The Supremes. Freddi sang with them for many years.
In September 2009, it was announced that Freddi had left the group. After she left, a singer named Joyce Vincent Wilson joined. Joyce had previously sung with the group Tony Orlando and Dawn.
Joining The Three Degrees
In January 2011, Freddi Poole became a member of another well-known group, the Three Degrees. She joined because the previous member, Cynthia Garrison, had a health issue that made it difficult for her to travel and perform with the group. Freddi has continued to be a member of the Three Degrees. She has been touring and performing with them for many years.
