Freddie Crittenden III is an American athlete born on August 3, 1994. He is known for his speed in the 110 metres hurdles race. Freddie has won several important medals, including a silver medal at the 2019 Pan American Games. He is one of the top hurdlers in the United States.

Freddie's Hurdles Journey
Freddie Crittenden started his journey in track and field at Utica High School in Michigan. After high school, he went on to run for Syracuse University.
College Years
During his time at Syracuse, Freddie was a very successful student-athlete. He was named an All-American four times, which means he was recognized as one of the best college athletes in the country. He also earned a spot on the All-ACC team six times, showing his consistent performance.
Becoming a Pro Athlete
After college, Freddie continued to train hard in Phoenix, Arizona. For a while, he was not sponsored by a big sports company. This meant he had to work a full-time job to support himself while also training. He worked for a non-profit organization that helped with after-school care.
In 2024, Freddie received a special donation of $10,000. This money came from a program called "Adopt an Athlete" by USATF. It helped him pay for training, healthcare, and travel for competitions. Later in July 2024, his hard work paid off when he signed a contract with Adidas, a major sports brand.
Freddie achieved a huge goal in 2024. He finished second at the US Olympic Trials in the 110m hurdles. This amazing performance earned him his first spot on the United States Olympic team, heading to Paris! In December 2024, it was announced that Freddie would join the first season of Grand Slam Track. This is a new and exciting track league started by the famous sprinter Michael Johnson.
Life Outside the Track
Freddie Crittenden comes from a big family. He has seven siblings. He is married to Tor Hawley Crittenden. In July 2024, Freddie and his wife welcomed their daughter into the world.
