Frederick Charles Reinhold was a talented British musician born in London in 1741. He became well-known as both a singer and an organist. His father, Henry Reinhold, was also a famous singer. Sometimes, Frederick was also called Charles Frederick Reinhold.

When he was a boy, Frederick sang in the choir at St Paul's Cathedral. After his father passed away, the Royal Society of Musicians helped to support him.

Early Career

In 1755, Frederick played the part of Oberon in an opera called 'The Fairies'. This opera was written by Christopher Smith. It was one of his first important roles.

Around 1758, Frederick's voice changed, and he started singing as a bass. He then began a long and successful career singing at a popular place called Marylebone Gardens. He performed in many shows there, including the opera La serva padrona by Pergolesi, where he played the character Uberto.

Later Life and Achievements

Frederick Reinhold continued to be a very active singer. In 1784, he sang in many special concerts called Lent oratorios. He was also one of the main bass singers at a big event celebrating the composer Handel at Westminster Abbey.

A year before that, in 1783, he became the organist at St. George-the-Martyr church. Frederick Reinhold stopped performing in public in 1797. He passed away in Somers Town on September 29, 1815. He was known as an excellent singer.
