Milton French-Stewart (born February 20, 1964), known as French Stewart, is an American actor. He is famous for playing Harry Solomon on the TV show 3rd Rock from the Sun. He also played Inspector Gadget in Inspector Gadget 2 and Chef Rudy on the show Mom.

Early Life and Education
French Stewart was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on February 20, 1964. His mom was a homemaker. His stepfather worked with microfilm. French went to Del Norte High School. He also studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Acting Career Highlights
Stewart worked in local theater for seven years. Then he got his first TV role in 1992. He played Razor Dee, a DJ, on The New WKRP in Cincinnati. He earned his acting union card while working for a show called Shakey Quakey.
Becoming Harry Solomon
In 1996, French Stewart got a big role. He was cast as Harry Solomon on 3rd Rock from the Sun. This TV show was very popular and lasted for six seasons. People noticed Stewart for his funny physical comedy. He also had a special "squinting" facial expression. While the show was popular, he appeared in many commercials. He was even a spokesperson for the drink Clamato.
Movie and Voice Acting Roles
French Stewart has been in several movies. He played Lieutenant Louis Ferretti in Stargate (1994). He was also in Leaving Las Vegas (1995) and McHale's Navy (1997). In 2002, he played Earl Doppler in Clockstoppers. He also starred as Inspector Gadget in Inspector Gadget 2 (2003).
Stewart has done voice acting too. He was the voice of Bob in the cartoon series God, the Devil and Bob. He also voiced Icarus in Disney's Hercules (1998). In 2008, he voiced Gaston Le Mode in Phineas and Ferb.
Later TV Appearances
After 3rd Rock from the Sun ended in 2001, Stewart kept acting. He appeared in many TV shows. These include Just Shoot Me!, Becker, and That '70s Show. He also played a genie on Charmed. He was a guest star on NCIS.
In 2013, he joined the CBS show Mom. He played Chef Rudy, a main character. He also guest-starred on The Middle as Principal Cameron.
Personal Life
French Stewart married actress Katherine LaNasa in 1998. They met when she was a guest on 3rd Rock from the Sun. They divorced in 2009.
In 2011, he married actress Vanessa Claire Smith. Their daughter was born on June 28, 2013.
