Fresh Pond is a lovely pond located in the Manomet area of Plymouth, Massachusetts. It covers about 62-acre (250,000 m2) of water. This pond is a great spot for outdoor fun and learning about nature.

Discovering Fresh Pond
Fresh Pond is a cool place to explore. It's not too deep, with an average depth of 12 feet (3.7 m). At its deepest point, it reaches about 30 feet (9.1 m).
Where is Fresh Pond?
The southern part of Fresh Pond is in a neighborhood called Churchill Landing. This area is south of Manomet's main business district. It's also near other interesting spots like Manomet Bluffs and Fisherman's Landing. To the north, you'll find Cedar Bushes and Shallow Pond. Beaver Dam Pond is located to the west.
Roads and Landmarks
Route 3A runs along the southeastern side of Fresh Pond. This road has a sharp turn known as the "Brown Bear Curve." This curve was named after an old motel that used to be right by the shore.
Fun Things to Do
On the western side of Fresh Pond, you'll find a public beach. There's also a boat ramp, which is perfect if you want to get out on the water. This area is on Bartlett Road. Bartlett Road connects to Route 3A at two different spots. One connection is south of the Brown Bear Curve. The other is about one mile (1.6 km) north, past Manomet's business district.
Nature Around the Pond
Fresh Pond is connected to a cranberry bog. This bog is a special type of wetland where cranberries grow. It's located to the west of the pond. An unnamed brook flows from Fresh Pond through this cranberry bog. Some local people even call this brook "Hell's River." This brook eventually leads to Beaver Dam Brook.
