Frida Marie Hansdotter (born 13 December 1985) is a famous Swedish alpine ski racer. She is an Olympic champion and used to compete in the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup. Frida was especially good at slalom, a type of skiing where you go around poles.
Her father, Hans Johansson, was also an alpine ski racer. Interestingly, Frida is a second cousin of Prince Daniel of Sweden. She stopped competing in alpine skiing in March 2019. In February 2022, she was chosen to be a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the IOC Athletes' Commission. This means she helps make important decisions for sports and athletes around the world.

Frida Hansdotter's Skiing Journey
Frida Hansdotter was born in Västerås, Sweden. She proudly represented her country in three Winter Olympics. She also competed in seven FIS Alpine World Ski Championships.
Her first big win in the World Cup happened in Kranjska Gora in 2014. Before this, she had finished second eight times, which was a record for someone who hadn't won yet! She showed great determination.
Winning the Slalom Title
Frida was very strong in slalom. She finished second in the slalom standings in 2014 and 2015. Then, in 2016, she finally won the overall slalom title. This was a huge achievement in her career.
Olympic and World Championship Medals
Frida won several medals at major events. At the World Championships, she earned a silver medal in slalom in 2015. She also won bronze medals in slalom in 2013 and 2017.
Her biggest win came at the 2018 Winter Olympics. There, she won the gold medal in the women's slalom event. This made her an Olympic champion!
Frida's World Cup Achievements
Frida Hansdotter had a very successful career in the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup. She won one special title for her performance in slalom.
