Friedrich Zickwolff (born August 1, 1893 – died September 17, 1944) was a German general who served during World War II. He was recognized for his military service with a high honor, the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, from Nazi Germany.
Zickwolff passed away on September 17, 1944. He died from an illness he caught while serving on the Eastern Front during the war. He was buried in a military cemetery in Ludwigsburg a few days later. In 2021, his name was mentioned by the Babi Yar Holocaust Memorial Center. This was because his troops were involved in the terrible events of the Babi Yar Massacre.
