Friends Forever is an album by the popular children's music group Sharon, Lois & Bram. It was their 19th album and came out in April 1998. This album was special because it was the first one released by their own company, Skinnamarink Entertainment. It included songs from their TV show, "Skinnamarink TV". This show was popular on CBC in Canada and The Learning Channel in the United States.

The album had a fresh sound and seemed to be for younger kids. But it also featured many classic songs. These included "Getting to Know You" from the musical The King & I. Other well-known songs were "Papa Loves Mambo" and "I'd Do Anything" from the musical Oliver!.

Album Release Details

Friends Forever was available as a cassette, a CD, and a VHS video. It was officially released in Canada. People in the United States could buy it through the group's online store. At that time, it became harder to find their music in the U.S. This was because their old distributor, Drive Entertainment, had closed.

The album is all about friendship, sharing, and working together. It has stories and songs that will make you feel good and laugh. The cassette version is quite rare to find today. The CD is also not very common. The album was released by Skinnamarink Entertainment. They worked with a Canadian company called Kids Motion.

Home Video Version

To help share the album, a 50-minute home video was released. It had the same name, Friends Forever. This video featured two episodes from their TV series, "Skinnamarink TV". Most of the songs from the album were in these episodes. The two episodes on the video were called "Cooperation" and "Friendship." Both were from the first season of the show.

The video invited kids to watch "Skinnamarink TV" for music and laughter. It starred Sharon, Lois & Bram, along with Ella Acapella and C.C. Copycat. They sang, danced, and laughed through different TV programs. Not all the songs from the album were included on the video.
