Gallman's Past: A Look at History
Gallman got its name from one of the first people who lived there a long time ago. This community was also located along the path of the old Illinois Central Railroad. In 1906, it was estimated that about 200 people lived in Gallman. Back then, the community had a church and several stores where people could buy what they needed.
Gallman Historic District
