Galyat facts for kids
The Galyat region is a beautiful area in Pakistan, about 50 to 80 kilometers (around 30-50 miles) north-east of Islamabad. It sits right on the border between two parts of Pakistan: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.
The name Galyat comes from the Urdu word gali. A gali means a path or alley between two mountains, with valleys on either side. It's not the very top of a mountain range, but a passage through it.
