Gavin Leatherwood was born in Maui, Hawaii, on June 7, 1994. He grew up in California and later moved to Oregon at age 18. He has an older sister named Chloe. His family background is mostly Irish, but he also has Native American, English, Spanish, and Welsh roots.

Career

Acting career

Leatherwood began his acting journey on the stage. He performed in plays like All My Sons and Peter Pan. In 2017, he started appearing on television with small roles in shows like NCIS and Grown-ish.

His big break came in 2018 when he was cast as Nicholas Scratch in the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. This role made him well-known to audiences around the world.

In 2021, Leatherwood joined the main cast of the HBO Max series The ... Lives of College Girls, created by Mindy Kaling. He also appeared in the music video for Sabrina Carpenter's song "Skin" as her love interest.

In 2024, he starred in a science-fiction thriller movie called It's What's Inside.

Music career

Besides acting, Gavin is also a talented musician. He released his first song, "Just For Tonight," in February 2021. Later that year, he released another single called "Driftwood Mermaid."
